HAProxy configuration parameters

To configure the service, use the following configuration parameters in ADCM.

NOTE

  • Some of the parameters become visible in the ADCM UI after the Advanced flag has been set.

  • The parameters that are set in the Custom group will overwrite the existing parameters even if they are read-only.

Configuration parameters of the HAProxy Server component:

haproxy_cfg_template

The haproxy.cfg file template for specifying custom HAProxy parameters.

Default template content — haproxy_cfg_template.

Backend network

Configuration for the pool of servers that the load balancer will send requests to.

Adds the ipv4@ prefix to HAProxy backend hostnames to enable the IPv4 address resolution protocol

Configuration for the statistics collection. Statistics collection is enabled by default and the data is available at the following endpoint: http://<HAProxy_Server_host>:<port>/.

Configuration for the Kafka Schema-Registry service: the frontend (IP addresses and ports to which clients can connect) and the backend (defines the pool of servers to which the load balancer will route requests).
