Configure a servicePay attention to the following parameters:
-
ADB → Edit /etc/hosts. Set to
trueto let ADB modify the /etc/hosts file to include hostnames of all cluster hosts. Otherwise, you should modify this file manually or configure a DNS server. Using the ADB service settings, you can also adjust other parameters of the cluster hosts to align them with recommended values. -
ADB → Disable linux security module and ADB → Set up GRUB for DBMS. Changing these parameters requires host reboot, so it is recommended to set them to
truebefore cluster installation and then set Reboot cluster servers after installation totruewhen launching the Install cluster action to reboot hosts automatically. If you change these parameters after installation, you will have to stop the cluster and reboot hosts manually. -
Chrony → NTP servers. Though this parameter is optional, we recommend to set it to the nearest NTP server, e.g. the one that your company uses.
