Мы приглашаем вас принять участие в конференции, посвященной будущему Open-Source Greenplum 19 сентября в 18:00:00 UTC +3. Встреча будет проходить в гибридном формате — и офлайн, и онлайн. Онлайн-трансляция будет доступна для всех желающих.
Внезапное закрытие Greenplum его владельцем — компанией Broadcom - стало неприятным сюрпризом для всех, кто использует или планирует начать использовать решения на базе этой технологии. Многие ожидают выхода стабильной версии Greenplum 7 и надеются на её дальнейшее активное развитие.
Arenadata не могла допустить, чтобы разрабатываемый годами Open-Source проект Greenplum прекратил своё существование, поэтому 19 сентября мы представим наш ответ на данное решение Broadcom, а участники сообщества получат исчерпывающие разъяснения на все вопросы о дальнейшей судьбе этой технологии.

Connect to ADBM

Currently, you can work with ADBM via the Arenadata DB Control (ADB Control) web interface. To connect to ADBM, follow the steps:

  1. In the browser bar, enter the IP address of the host where ADB Control is deployed. To specify the port number, use the value of the Listening port parameter from the UI component parameters section defined when configuring the ADB Control service during the ADB cluster installation (81 by default).

  2. In the window that opens, enter the default user credentials and click Sign in:

    • Username: admin

    • Password: 1234

  3. When you first log in, you should change a password for the admin user. Enter a new password in the New password field and confirm it in the Confirm new Password field. Click Save. Note that your password must be greater than or equal to 12 characters by default. Any characters other than spaces are allowed to enter.

  4. After saving a password, re-enter your login and a new password. Note that when a certain number of unsuccessful login attempts is reached, the user will be blocked — permanently or temporarily, depending on the settings.

  5. On the next page, select the Backup Manager item in the left navigation menu.

  6. If you later need to get information about the current user, select the User info tab in the left navigation menu.

    The modal window that opens displays the current user name, which can be copied by clicking Copy info.

  7. To log out from ADB Control, click Log out in the left navigation menu.

  • All actions described in the subsequent sections of the ADBM documentation are performed on the Backup Manager page via the ADB Control UI.

  • The Backup Manager page is available to users with Administrator and Owner roles.
