Service is a software that functions on hosts. Service can be a single entity or a logical entity that consists of several components (such as HDFS).

Examples of services:

  • HDFS

  • Hive

  • Postgres

The set of services depends on the bundle that is used to deploy a cluster. After cluster is created, you can choose services in the Services subsection.
