Operating systems

The following platforms are supported:

  • ALT Linux 10.2 SP.

  • Astra Linux SE 1.7.6 Orel. The LC_TIME locale should be set to en_US.utf8.

  • Astra Linux SE 1.7.6 Voronezh.

  • Astra Linux SE 1.8.4 Orel (starting with the ADPS version 2.2.0.b1).

  • Astra Linux SE 1.8.4 Voronezh (starting with the ADPS version 2.2.0.b1).

  • Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

  • RED OS 7.3 Certified edition (starting with the ADPS version 1.2.1.b1).

Java

JDK 8 or later is required (compatible with OpenJDK and Oracle JDK).

Databases

ADPS requires PostgreSQL 9 or later.

The database server can be installed on the same host as Ranger. When you use different hosts for the database server and Ranger, then Ranger service must have access to the database server.

Antivirus

It is recommended to switch off any antivirus software before ADPS installation and during the ADPS operation process. In case of using antivirus, please contact your antivirus software vendor to find out the settings necessary to allow ADPS.
