Operating systems

The following platforms are supported:

  • RedHat 7.x.

  • CentOS 7.x.

  • ALT Linux 8.4 SP.

  • Astra Linux SE 1.7 Orel with Axiom JDK. The LC_TIME locale should be set to en_US.utf8.

Java

JDK 8 or later is required (compatible with OpenJDK and Oracle JDK).

Databases

ADPS requires MariaDB 5.5.68 or later. Alternatively, PostgreSQL 9 or later can be used.

The database server can be installed on the same host as Ranger. When you use different hosts for the database server and Ranger, then Ranger service must have access to the database server.
