Remove an Arenadata X cluster

If you need to remove an Arenadata X (ADX) cluster, follow the steps below.

Step 1. Delete the Monitoring service

  1. Run the Add/Remove components action of the Monitoring service.

    On the Host-Component tab, remove hosts from components of the Monitoring service.

    Click Next twice to switch tabs of the Run the action: Add/Remove components window. Then, on the last tab, click Run to execute the action.

    Confirm the "Add/Remove components" action

  2. On the Services tab, in the Actions column, click delete default to delete the Monitoring service.

Step 2. Delete the ADP ES Agents service

  1. On the Services tab, run the Uninstall action of the ADP ES Agents service.

  2. Click delete default in the Actions column to delete the ADP ES Agents service.

Step 3. Delete the Third-party database service

  1. On the Services tab, run the Remove action of the Third-party database service.

  2. Click delete default in the Actions column to delete the Third-party database service in the same way as you did for the other two services.

Step 4. Remove the cluster

On the Clusters tab, click delete default to delete your ADX cluster.
