Arenadata Second Storage

ADSS provides the following features:

  • User interface for managing connections for Arenadata DB sources, external file system, cron line, jobs;
  • Ability to configuring jobs for Arenadata DB based on gpbackup & gprestore utilities;
  • Ability to configuring & managing external filesystem as backup storage;
  • Ability to schedule configured jobs based on cron line;
  • API for external ETL integration;
  • Ability to automatically deploying MooseFS filesystem as backup storage;

Limitations:

  • MooseFS Supported only via local client and requires installed clients on each ADB host;
  • In other cases supported only filesystems mounted as a part of OS;
  • Some features of incremental backup for ADB may be limited, see gpbackup limitations;
